very ALTF - Summer tour '08

The One Day workshop will never be the same. John Michael Cooper a.k.a. "the godfather of dress trashing" along with Dalisa Cooper of altF will attempt to reinvent and change what is to be expected out of the one day photography workshop. John Michael will take his approach of busting paradigms in wedding photography and apply it to this "not for the faint of heart" one day workshop altF style.

For 32 days John and Dalisa Cooper will travel via an RV across the country and back to visit and teach their brand of business, art, and style in 6 cities and one small town.
F.A.Q.'s

Q: What will be taught at the workshop?
A: Though most of the format will be very flexible to adjust to the environment we will be teaching in at each city, we will be going over in detail, our simple, untraditional posing method along with our use of natural and very unnatural lighting techniques. Time will also be spent shooting and photoshopping.

Q: What will the workshop be like?
A: Each day 9 am to 5 pm will be limited to only 15 participants and will be hosted in each city at either a photographers home or studio. The limited number of attendees will allow us to be very hands on and allow for a lot of one on one instruction. We will be totally accessible for questions and extra help before, during and after each 9 to 5 session.

Q: What's the cost?
A: Tuition is $425 per person.

Q: Will there be models to shoot?
A: Yes, we will have live models to shoot.

Q: Who are you?
A: John Michael Cooper, 21 year photography veteran shooting things his own damn way. From high volume Vegas style weddings to high end events across the country, John first came to national attention because of his unconventional approach along with a dress unfriendly conceptual art that inspired the current Trash the Dress craze that is sweeping the world.

Dalisa Cooper, with her many years of experience in the publishing and marketing end of the wedding industry, is the business end of altF. Dalisa also needs to be there to keep John focused and somewhat in line. John and Dalisa Cooper are also co-founders of the highly coveted antiworshops.

Q: Should i ask my mommy for permission?
A: No, absolutely not. Face it, your mom doesn't like us because of our reputation for mayhem. If she new you wanted to be a bad ass wedding photographer, you would be grounded.

Q: Will there be any Dress Trashing?
A: Dress unfriendly, unconventional posing, and non-traditional environments are just a natural extension of most of our sessions.

Q: Tell us more about the Locations of the workshops.
